THE VINEYARD
Longview is a family-owned estate nestled in the Adelaide Hills, just outside the historic township of Macclesfield. Since its inaugural 2001 vintage, it has become one of Australia's most awarded vineyards. The Saturno family infuses their Italian heritage throughout, producing meticulous examples of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Pinot Grigio alongside classic Australian Shiraz, Cabernet and Chardonnay. Notably, Longview holds some of the oldest and most diverse Nebbiolo plantings in Australia.

🍇 About Marie-Noelle Ledru
Often called the "Queen of Champagne" and the female counterpart to Anselme Selosse, a rare breed of female vigneron who proudly calls herself a viticultrice. With vineyards in Ambonnay and Bouzy in the south of Montagne de Reims, she inherited the property from her parents in 1984. Her philosophy is virtually organic: no insecticides, no herbicides, and only environmentally friendly treatments when necessary.
The Ledru estate, now reduced to just 2.5 hectares due to family disputes, produces tiny quantities of extraordinary Champagne. The wines are classically vinified in tank, no oak, low yields, no chaptalization, no filtration, no cold stabilisation, low dosages, and minimal sulphur. Every bottle is disgorged by hand. The entire process is manual, labour-intensive, and uncompromising.
She retired in 2017. Her wines have since become prized in aftermarket sales.

Guests will explore six different cuvées, discovering the philosophy, craftsmanship and distinctive oak influence behind each Champagne.
This special tasting highlights Henri Giraud’s rare oak‑aged cuvées, matured in precious barrels sourced from the historic Argonne Forest in France.
Joining the line‑up is Champagne Manon Boutillez‑Guer, led by Manon, who works closely with Michelin‑starred restaurants worldwide. For five centuries, the Boutillez family has been rooted in Villers‑Marmery, a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. Today, Manon continues the family tradition across 5.25 hectares planted predominantly with Chardonnay, crafting wines with deep respect for heritage and terroir.
