🏛️ About Hudson Vineyards
A 810-hectare Carneros ranch planted in 1981 by Lee Hudson, with nearly 80 hectares of vines on the Napa side just north of San Pablo Bay. The estate has become one of California's most coveted vineyard sources supplying fruit to cult producers like Kistler, Kongsgaard, Aubert, and Failla. The land itself is steeped in history: in the 1880s, it was the site of America's first successful experiments developing phylloxera-resistant rootstocks. Today, Hudson crafts its own single-vineyard wines while continuing to farm unusual varieties rarely seen in Napa.

Founded in 1946 and now in its third generation, Comelli is a boutique family-run winery in Friuli Colli Orientali. Their 12-hectare vineyard sits between the Julian Prealps and the Adriatic Sea, creating a unique microclimate with dramatic temperature swings that yield highly aromatic, complex wines. Brothers Filippo and Nicola Comelli continue the family's "land never betrays" philosophy, practising organic fertilisation, low vine density, and hand-harvesting all grapes.
