π About Bellaria
The Bellaria Estate first came into being in September 1963, when Assunto Pieri and Bruna Tempori purchased a farmhouse and land in one of the finest and most characteristic Montalcino winegrowing areas. The Rosso di Montalcino DOC "Bellaria" is a great Italian red wine, considered by many to be Brunello di Montalcino's "little brother". Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, bunches are harvested, selected and fermented in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature for 15-20 days. Maturation takes place in small oak barrels for 12 months, followed by 3 months of refinement in the cellar after bottling.

π About Marcel Deiss
A family estate in Bergheim since 1744, Domaine Marcel Deiss (27 hectares) has been led by Jean-Michel Deiss since 1981. A passionate advocate for βcomplantation" with is field blending multiple varieties in a single vineyard, he believes true terroir expression only comes through this ancient practice. The estate has been farmed biodynamically since 2003. Jean-Michel even convinced the INAO to change regulations, allowing blends to achieve Grand Cru status for the first time in Alsace history.
