🏛️ About Louis Latour
Established in 1797, Louis Latour is one of Burgundy's most iconic négociants and wine producers, remaining family-owned and operated to this day. The domaine holds the largest grand cru vineyard holdings of any producer in Burgundy, approximately 48 hectares across the region, including prestigious sites in Corton-Charlemagne, Le Montrachet, and Romanée-Saint-Vivant.
The Latour family's winemaking roots trace back to the 17th century in Aloxe-Corton, where they built the pioneering Corton Grancey winery in 1834, the first gravity-flow winery in France. Specializing in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Louis Latour crafts wines that reflect the unique terroir of each vineyard plot. In 1997, the house was admitted into the prestigious Hénokiens club, reserved exclusively for family-owned companies operating for over 200 years.

🏡 About the Domaine:
Patrick Bouju founded Domaine la Bohème in 2004 with just one and a half hectares. Since then, he and his partner Justine Loiseau have sought out both renowned and forgotten plots across the Puy-de-Dôme. Today, they cultivate seven and a half hectares across four villages: Égliseneuve-près-Billom, Chauriat, Corent, and Cournon. Here, regional Gamay varieties thrive alongside rare grapes like the hyper-local Mirefleurien, as well as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Fruit trees, wildflowers, and herbs grow among the vines.
Most of the vines are truly 'vieilles vignes’, Patrick's and Justine's oldest parcels are over 120 years old, densely planted at 10,000 vines per hectare with the local Gamay d'Auvergne. These grapes are smaller with thicker skins, producing wines with higher acidity, lower yields, and more structure. Nearly all work is done by hand or with horses, and the couple uses fermented herbal extracts and decoctions to strengthen the vines.
